Some fashionista explain these bad news simply by the fact that street buyers are not interested in buying Automn Winter clothes and accessories right now. What they want is an ice cream and a ride on a boat. Basically, why buy winter jeans, coats, scarves and boots when you are wearing flip flops and beachwear.
It looks like most clothing shop owners have made the mistake of ignoring the seasons.
Clothing companies in western countries have registered at least 5% decrease in sales in September and are looking forward the month of October to make it up.
This year end may be tough for many fashion designers although they heavily rely on Christmas sales to close this year’s clothing business with a profit.
No need to show the picture in this blog, you’ve seen it everywhere already: The picture of Lady Gaga wearing an outfit made of meat.
Yes Lady Gaga is all about provocation, you can complain about that but you can also bet that if you were to put on the market a good quality meat made outfit at a reasonable price you would sell thousands within a week.
Lady Gaga provocative style is free advertising. Crazy ideas make money, at least in the short term.
Then again, would you be able to come up with new crazy ideas on a regular basis. I know I wouldn’t but some people (Madonna?) have been able to do it for years and have made a good living out of this strange habit.
