Watch and learn from Lady Gaga.

The girl knows how to grab attention. I heard she arrived at the VMAs with a very special date. Maybe a lot of people there were expecting to see her arriving with Akon, the famous singer with whom she is engaged into business.

Using Twitter and Google to sell urban clothes.

How you can use Twitter and Google to sell urban clothes or promote your clothing line. Note that this method by guest author Bilal may be adapted and used to sell about anything that you can imagine.

Today, we’ll go through a basic marketing routine on the net to generate business (traffic and sales).

First step:

Let’s find a list of popular subjects. These days I like to go twitter homepage to do this.

Twitter homepage has been redesigned just one or two months ago to feature a real time search. What I look at is the list of popular search expressions which appear just under the search box.

I pick up some expressions in Popular topics today and Popular topics right now.

At this point I pick up ABDC, which is the first topic in the list and Van Jones.

Second step:

Identify which of these topics you want to choose. Because we are in the business of making and selling clothes, I like to have a good picture of someone modeling or simply wearing clothes which we can comment on.

In Google I find out that Van Jones is into politics, I also go to Google search and select images, but can’t find an inspiring one to start from.

Type ABDC and you will get a number of pictures. Lucky me, there’s a picture featuring the judges of America’s Best Dance Crew wearing hoodies and caps.

Final Step:

Write what this picture inspires to you. And ask related questions.

Ellen Clothing Manufacturer produces Street-Wear clothes such as Hoodies and Caps. So I’m going to save the picture of ABDC and use it to comment on their clothing style.

Finished!

We are done: It’s that simple. We have posted a blog post about a popular subject of conversation mixed with keyword rich content about urban clothing. This was done directly on your shopping website or on a blog that links to your e-commerce platform.

Sit back and enjoy reading comments from readers. The more traffic on this web-page, the more popular it will become to search engines.

All this results in making it easier for your targeted niche to find your products on your shopping website. We have used basic information to bring our products to the attention of search engines.

We have in fact diverted traffic that would normally go to competitors for expressions such as Hoodies and Caps, thus generating business.
