No need to show the picture in this blog, you’ve seen it everywhere already: The picture of Lady Gaga wearing an outfit made of meat.

Yes Lady Gaga is all about provocation, you can complain about that but you can also bet that if you were to put on the market a good quality meat made outfit at a reasonable price you would sell thousands within a week.

Lady Gaga provocative style is free advertising. Crazy ideas make money, at least in the short term.
Then again, would you be able to come up with new crazy ideas on a regular basis. I know I wouldn’t but some people (Madonna?) have been able to do it for years and have made a good living out of this strange habit.

Let’s say that you are starting a clothing brand, that’s probably how you found this blog in the first place, you may have decided that your brand should target a specific audience.

I just read Bilal latest post at wholesale-clothing-supplier.com – this one is about urban fashion trends and specifically Ecko unlimited

In this article Bilal shows how Ecko is targeting Urban wear. The designs of this clothing company blend hip-hop styles, skatewear and rock styles.

If Ecko was not such a successful clothing brand, I would probably not recommend to go that way. But you have to respect their management style: They are doing great.

The key to success, is the blending. I personally feel that a clothing brand is like a cocktail.

If the fruits are blended in nice way then the cocktail has a great taste. In the same way, if the different fashion styles are mixed together in an harmonious way then the end result is a clothing brand that looks great and sells well.
